31 डिसेंबरपासून व्हॉट्सअॅप होणार बंद

दैनंदिन आयुष्यात जर तुम्ही व्हॉट्स अॅपचा वापरत असाल तर ही माहिती तुमच्यासाठी अतिशय महत्त्वाची आहे. कारण 31 डिसेंबर 2017पासून कित्येक मोबाइल फोनमध्ये व्हॉट्स अॅप (WhatsApp) काम करणं बंद करणार आहे. व्हॉट्स अॅप काही ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टमसाठी आपला सपोर्ट बंद करत असल्याची माहिती समोर आली आहे. यूकेमधील वेबसाइटनं दिलेल्या माहितीनुसार व्हॉट्स अॅप (WhatsApp) या ओएससाठी सपोर्ट बंद करणार आहे.

•     ब्लॅकबेरी 10,
•     विडोंज 8.0
•     विंडोज फोन 7
•     आयफोन 3जीएस/आयओएस 6
•     नोकिया एस40 (31 डिसेंबर 2018 पर्यंत)
•     अँड्रॉइड 2.1 आणि अँड्रॉइड 2.2 (1 फेब्रुवारी 2020 पर्यंत)

या मोबाइल फोनमध्ये व्हॉट्सअॅपचे काही फीचर्स कधीही काम करणं बंद करू शकतात. जर तुमच्या फोनमध्ये हे ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम आहे तरी वेळीच फोन बदला कारण या फोनमध्ये व्हॉट्स अॅप काम करणार नाही.

काय आहे उपाय?
जर तुम्ही या ओएसचा वापर करत आहात तर तुमच्या मोबाइलमध्ये ओएस 4.0, आयओएस 7 आणि विंडोज 8.1 चे ऑपरेटिंग सिस्टम अपडेट करावी. यानंतर तुम्ही व्हॉट्स अॅपचा वापर  करू शकता.

WhatsApp will stop working on BlackBerry OS, Windows Phone 8.0 after Dec 31

 

• WhatsApp will end its support for several smartphone platforms by the end of this year. The Facebook-owned company has confirmed this via its official blog post. The messaging service will pull the plug on mobile platforms like BlackBerry OS, BlackBerry 10, Windows Phone 8.0 and older on December 31, 2017. This means that users using mobile phones running any one of these platforms will not be able to use WhatsApp after this year.

• WhatsApp first announced about these outdated mobile platforms in year 2016. It said that it will end support for these mobile platforms. However, it later updated its blog stating that it extended its deadline to June 30, 2017. This deadline was further updated to December 31, 2017.
  " This was a tough decision for us to make, but the right one in order to give people better ways to keep in touch with friends, family, and loved ones using WhatsApp. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android, iPhone, or Windows Phone before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp," WhatsApp states on its blog.
  These are the mobile OS that would stop supporting WhatsApp by the end of this year:
  

  • -- Nokia Symbian S60 after June 30, 2017
    -- BlackBerry OS and BlackBerry 10 after December 31, 2017
    -- Windows Phone 8.0 and older after December 31, 2017
    -- Nokia S40 after December 31, 2018
    -- Android versions 2.3.7 and older after February 1, 2020
